Compost Critter
This innovative composting system is interactive and educational. Its spinning drum enables children to aerate compost in a new and accessible way.
For primary schools and community gardens this practical system uses aerobic, hot-composting techniques to break down a wide variety of food & garden waste, producing nutrient-rich compost in as fast as 3–4 weeks.

The Compost Critter makes composting in schools easy, efficient and fun! It also creates meaningful learning opportunities, helping children understand the process and benefits of composting. Safety comes first. A teacher / custodian simply unlocks the side door to add ingredients. Rotation is suspended until this door is closed and locked again.
Remove compost
When the nutrient-rich compost is ready, a tool assists kids to scrape and remove the compost into small containers for transporting to their garden beds. Rotation is suspended when door is removed.
